Flower Power Times Four

Phalaenopsis Nivacolor Orchid

All four buds have been completely open for two weeks. The inflorescence may last two to three months. Now that total enjoyment!

And in the garden........ Is Spring yet?

I'm loving the gorgeous colors of the Yuccas.

I've been enjoying this giant Magnolia on my drive home from  work every evening. I finally got the prefect opportunity to take two pics while waiting for the green light.

Coming Attractions!

BLOOMS

Orchid - Phalaenopsis Nivacolor

For the past seven years my orchid has rewarded me with blooms. My Phalaenopsis Nivacolor has made her home on the kitchen table where she gets the best light; her beauty on display for all to see. I expect in a few days, her four buds will open and put on an even bigger show of striped yellow blooms. Stay tuned!

Rain Rain Rain and more Rain

We've received rain, on and off, for the last 9 days, starting on September 25th.We were blessed with a sunny interlude on Wednesday September 30th -  and it was fabulous! Then back to rain last Thursday, and continuing into today, with rain forecasted through  Monday October 4th. I'm not complaining, as the plants just love it and they are putting on a show; not all are blooming, as most are finished for the season, but an impressive showing, to say the least.
